Shocking Beer Can
The Shocking Can may just be the mother
of all prepackaged pranks. If you can get your hands on
one of these you should pick this genius invention up as
soon as you see it (as long as it's not armed). The electric
shock can comes in a few varieties; however, for my purposes
I like to use the shocking beer can because my girlfriend
and many relatives are borderline heavy drinkers so they
can hardly pass up booze in a can.
When the can is lifted off the ground, the trigger mechanism releases an almost sickening jolt of electricity up your arm and you instinctively jerk back, dropping the bastardly can. Even if your victims recognize something askew with the can, they are still likely to pick the can up for examination and after they do they are going to be sorry. With this prank you hardly have to lift a muscle, except when preparing the prank by inserting a (AA) battery, you may want to wear a winter glove to prevent an accidental self imposed shock (the glove insulates you from creating a current for the electricity to travel through). Just place the can up on your kitchen counter or leave the shocking can in the refrigerator, sit back and wait for the laughs to roll in!
I took a shocking can to a beer festival a couple years ago and placed it on one of the exibiting brewery tables. A couple of people were pretty pissed at getting a high voltage shock!
"Oh, hey, this beer is new. zzzzzz, what the hell!" They were asking the people behind the exibit table
if it was thiers and they just looked at them like they were crazy. It was just great. I tried to get video with my small camera but too many people were in the way.
