Deception and Trickery

While deceiving people to obtain illegitimate gains is unacceptable, deluding friends, family, and strangers for the purposes of humor is perfectly respectable. Deception and trickery are very powerful gag joke tools. So many expectations are placed upon our fellow humans, when the deliverance of the unexpected, occurs it can evoke great emotion. While these jokes may seem trivial, they have given me great pleasure over the years.

Using deception for comedic purposes is a form of artistic expression. In many cases you are using acting skills to trick people into thinking you are doing something you are not. On other occasions you are trying to get your victim to perform an action based on their perception of what your body language is telling them. These types of gags only get better with age, as each time you pull the pranks you hone your craft and acting skills.
