The Boss Needs You
This is a great little joke to play on your colleagues at work. Tell one of your coworkers your boss or their immediate supervisor wants to see them right away, preferably when their supervisor is in a meeting. They will walk into their boss's office interrupting the meeting and probably become apprehensive because everyone will be looking at them with an expression that says, "why are you here?" The victim will ask, "so and so said you wanted to see me? No? Oh, sorry." Trust me, they will feel like an absolute idiot for walking in on a meeting where they are not wanted. I have had this prank pulled on me several times. Damn you Leo.
Another version of this joke, that I have perfected, entails calling your coworker from the boss's office (after the boss leaves) and asking for them to come over so you (the boss) can talk to them. I have only tried this joke at an office where the phones have Caller ID. If your office has no Caller ID I suppose you could just say you were the boss. Voice recognition should not be a problem the first time you try this joke but after that you may need to use the speakerphone to fool them as they will be wary of any future phone calls requesting their immediate attention.
After you make the call, you should leave the office, watch them go in and wonder what the hell is going on, and then when they come out point and laugh at them. Perhaps the ultimate tactic with this joke would be to wait for the boss to go to the restroom, sneak in to make the call, and ask the person to come over in a few minutes. Now the boss should be back and you can watch them try to explain why they came over to bug them. I can just hear the exchange now:
Coworker: "You wanted to see me?"
Boss: "No, I don't think so. What are you talking about?"
Coworker: "You just called me and asked me to come in here a few minutes ago."
Boss: "No I didn't, I was just in the restroom. You're fired dumb ass!"
