Frightening Fragrance
Have you ever squirted yourself with a free sampling of your favorite perfume or cologne in a department store? Of course you have, we've all done it. When you spray the blast of fragrance on yourself or in the air and take a whiff, you usually don't expect to smell a putrid odor do you? That's what makes this joke great. Your victim's will be so surprised when they try a sample of the newest designer Calvin Klein cologne and find someone has replaced the sweet smelling lavender fragrance with liquid dear musk.
If you have ever had the displeasure of smelling dear musk, you know how retched and rank the odor can be. Dear hunters purchase small bottles of dear musk to mask their human scent from dear or to entice their prey into coming within striking range. While dear musk may attract and excite the dear species, the smell would only arouse the urge to vomit among humans. Replacing perfume with liquid dear musk is probably a daunting challenge at the department store but doing the dirty deed in the privacy of your home is simple. Are you almost out of your favorite cologne? Just empty the last remnants of the bottle, fill it up with dear musk, place a sticker that says "Tester" on the cap or front of the bottle and you are ready for business. The next time you visit the mall, drop the "Tester" off at the perfume counter and then find a comfortable spot to watch and wait.
Don't like the idea of pulling this on complete strangers? Then try the old switcheroo on your dad, mom, or sister. They are bound to spray themselves down sooner or later with their preferred perfume. Other liquid replacements might include mosquito spray with Deet, liquids with sulfur containing compounds, or anything that has a high concentration of ammonia. Ask your local high school chemistry teacher for recommendations on other stinking liquids which are volatile and easily dispersed through a perfume mister.
